چکیده

Differential pulse anodic stripping voltammetric study of zinc-ethylenediamine complex has been investigated using thin mercury film coated glassy carbon electrode at 30°C. The overall work was carried out at constant ionic strength (I = 0.20 mol dm -3 ) and pH (9.10±0.10). The electrode processes were found to be reversible and diffusion controlled. The results revealed that zinc forms three (1:1, 1:2 and 1:3metal: ligand) complexes with ethylenediamine (en). The values of stability constant of zinc complexes were found to be 10 6.03 , 10 10.16 and 10 13.98 for ZnL, ZnL2 and ZnL3, respectively (the overall charges were omitted for simplicity). The percentage of all possible zinc species were calculated using the stability constant of zinc complexes and hydrolysis constant of zinc under present experimental conditions.

Zinc (Zn) Analysis in Milk by Microwave Oven Digestion and Differential Pulse Anodic Stripping Voltametry (DPASV) Technique

Milk is very important component of human diet. The presence of over limit of heavy metal in milk may create significant health problems. In the present study, the direct determination of Zinc (Zn) heavy metal in milk samples of different brands was carried out by differential pulse anodic stripping Voltammetric technique at Hanging Mercury Drop Electrode (HMDE). Milk samples were processed by ...

Simultaneous determination of lead, cadmium, copper and zinc in Infant formula by anodic stripping voltammetry

Determination of trace elements in food is of great importance, as some of them have nutritional significance, whilst others are toxic. Long-term exposure to low levels of toxic metals could be important, especially in relation to children. Differential Pulse Anodic Stripping Voltammetry (DPASV) is applied to simultaneous determination of lead, cadmium, copper and zinc in dry ash infant formula...

Applicability of the silver amalgam electrode in voltammetric determination of zinc and copper in gastric juice and gastric mucosa of rats.

The aim of the work was to compare two analytical methods of trace analysis in respect to their applicability in heavy metals determination in biological samples. Atomic absorption spectrometry (AAS) may be considered as the method of choice in such analyses due to its accuracy, precision and low detection limit. On the other hand, voltammetric methods seem to be as useful, but rarely applied. ...

Simultaneous Adsorptive Stripping Differential Pulse Voltammetric Measurements of Trace Lead, Cadmium and Nickel in the Presence of 2-aminobenzoic Acid

In this study, 2-aminobenzoic acid (ABA) has been used as complexing ligand for simultaneousdetermination of metal ions by adsorptive cathodic stripping voltammetry (AdCSV), for the firsttime. Thus, a selective and sensitive procedure was presented for simultaneous determination oflead, cadmium and nickel using ABA and differential pulse-adsorptive cathodic strippingvolt...
